| AGREE - Computing Agreement On Nominal Data |
AGREE is useful for research situations in which two or more judges classify objects
into nominal scale categories. AGREE calculates measures of agreement (Cohens kappa
or the D2 measure) between nominal scale judgements. AGREE can be applied when, e.g.,
judges did not classify all objects, one judge is regarded as a target for comparison, or
clusters of judges have to be compared. It is menu-based and has on-line help.
AGREE allows data and commands to be specified interactively or by means of a batch
file. In interactive mode, data can be entered as raw scores or in tables. Once the data
are read (and optionally written to a file for later use), several ways of analyzing the
data are possible.
The manual describes each program section, formulas, a summary of keywords, examples,
error messages, and contains an introduction to nominal scale agreement. AGREE has a limit
of 16 response categories per rater.
